Our Story
It started Summer 2021. Emily saw Justin at a bar and she initiated the conversation with him.
2021
Inseparable since the very beginning, the rest of the year was spent traveling together and getting to know each other.
2022
As they grew in their relationship, they created a bucket list of things they wanted to do together. During this year, Justin traveled with Emily’s family to El Salvador for the first time, embracing the Salvadorian culture. They later continued to travel and explore the United States - roadtripping to Colorado and stopping at different cities.
2023
A year of big changes - Emily made the move to New York City for a new job and they decided they would commit to a long distance relationship. Justin would travel to NYC every chance he had, embracing NY sports (Go Knicks!). They ended the year traveling to the Philippines together with Justin’s family for Christmas and New Years while Emily experienced the Filipino holiday culture.
2024
Within their first full year as a long distance couple, Justin knew he had to “lock it down forever” (actual words he said in the proposal 😉). With Emily’s mom there, Justin proposed to her in front of the Vienna State Opera House in Austria! They ended their trip listening to love songs at the Adele concert in Munich.
2025
This year has been full of wedding planning & preparing for the special day in April 2026! Justin & Emily look forward to spending a lifetime together.
